Position Overview

Seeking a full-time Veterinarian to join a growing companion animal practice providing general practice and emergency care. Practice Overview

  • Companion animal general practice and emergency care
  • Average caseload: Approximately 20 patients per day
  • 2:1 support staff-to-doctor ratio
  • Caseload includes wellness exams, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care
  • Collaborative, high-skill, teaching-focused team environment
  • Modern equipment, including:

    • Digital radiography
    • Ultrasound
    • In-house laboratory
    • Class IV therapy laser
    • Electrocautery
    • Advanced anesthesia monitoring
    • AI-assisted radiology review

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual salary: $115,000–$125,000, plus production bonus

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide preventive, medical, surgical, dental, and urgent care services for companion animals
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions
  • Perform routine surgical and dental procedures
  • Communicate effectively with clients and educate them on patient care
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
  • Eligible for veterinary licensure
  • Compassionate, client-focused approach to patient care
  • Strong communication and client education skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
