About the job General Practice Veterinarian
Our client is seeking a General Practice Veterinarian to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will provide high-quality medical care to a variety of small animal patients and build strong relationships with their owners. You will work closely with our team of experienced veterinarians and support staff to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to our clients and their pets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnostic tests on small animal patients
- Develop treatment plans and provide appropriate medical care for a variety of conditions and illnesses
- Perform routine surgeries, such as spays and neuters, as well as more complex procedures as needed
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients
- Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to provide the best possible care for our patients
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state
- Strong diagnostic and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Dedication to providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients and their owners
