Position: Director of Technology
The Director of Technology will lead technology-focused projects, developing plans and specifications primarily for education and higher education clients. This role acts as a key liaison between the client, architectural teams, and internal engineering teams to ensure smooth coordination and effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to engineering teams and senior management

• Develop goals and strategies that support company objectives

• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives

• Lead hiring and staff development decisions

• Manage and guide engineering teams

• Develop and implement technology and engineering strategies

• Oversee communications and technology infrastructure design

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a director or in a similar leadership role

• Strong background in software engineering (languages, frameworks, tools, and trends)

• Experience managing large-scale initiatives and leading organizational change

• Skilled in coordinating across departments and managing remote teams

• Knowledge of IT governance and service delivery best practices
