A full-service design consulting firm with over 60 years of experience is seeking a Client Service Manager to lead its Knoxville office and grow its practice across Tennessee. The firm provides engineering and consulting services supporting infrastructure projects that protect public and environmental health.

This role involves planning, design, and construction administration of utility infrastructure projects, while building strong client relationships to grow the practice. The organization offers a collaborative and development-focused environment integrating the latest engineering concepts and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering

  • PE not needed- EIT is fine

  • 10+ years of experience in design and construction administration of utility infrastructure projects within a consulting environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills for reports, correspondence, and presentations
  • High level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities
  • Experience in project resource planning, scheduling, and budget management
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams

  • Motivation to exceed client and firm expectations

  • No structural or geotech background wanted

This position will lead a small team of approximately 5 people in the Knoxville office, with a focus on expanding the firm's footprint across Tennessee. The company is an employee-owned (ESOP) firm, offering a strong ownership culture as a key selling point.
