An established architecture and design firm is seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to drive profitable growth by cultivating relationships and opportunities in North Texas markets, with a focus on municipal, county government, and commercial sectors.

Requirements
- Business development experience within the architecture, engineering, or construction (A/E/C) industry
Proven track record of winning work and building client relationships in municipal and community sectors

Strong strategic planning and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and presentation abilities

Experience developing proposals and RFQ/RFP responses
Ability to foster and maintain long-term relationships with municipal agencies and consultants

Familiarity with CRM systems
Collaborative mindset, working effectively with marketing and market sector leaders to align business development with project execution and promotion
- Active engagement in industry events, conferences, and networking to enhance presence in the DFW area
- Knowledge of market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the Texas market
Responsibilities
- Execute a business development plan in collaboration with senior leadership, using a strategic go/no-go process for evaluating leads
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Texas, aligned with strategic goals
- Monitor regional market conditions, providing regular reports and updates to leadership
- Lead development of proposals, presentations, and RFQ/RFP responses with internal teams

Represent the firm at industry events and conferences
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including municipal agencies and consultants
Requirements & Preferences
- Must have experience selling architecture or design services to high-level municipal and government contacts
- 5+ years of business development experience required; 7-10 years preferred
- Previous experience must be within an architecture or architecture/engineering (A/E) firm
- Position focuses on selling directly to municipal decision-makers such as fire and police chiefs, city mayors, city councils, and similar stakeholders (selling to owners/end-users, not other architects)
- Bonus structure is negotiable and will be determined based on the candidate's experience and expectations
