Summary:

Open to newly licensed attorneys! We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Attorney to join our team and specialize in Social Security Disability law. The ideal candidate will have a client-focused mindset and a passion for helping clients navigate the complex legal process of obtaining disability benefits. Will occasionally travel to Elkins Park, Wilkes-Barre, Mars/Seven Fields, Harrisburg,  Pittsburg, PA as well as Pennsauken, NJ to attend in-person hearings. 

Responsibilities:

- Represent clients in Social Security Disability hearings and appeals

- Conduct thorough case evaluations and develop effective legal strategies

- Gather and analyze medical records, employment history, and other relevant evidence

- Communicate with clients, medical professionals, and government agencies to gather necessary information

- Prepare and file legal documents and briefs

- Attend administrative hearings and advocate for clients' rights

- Keep up-to-date with changes in Social Security Disability laws and regulations

 - Consult clients and share thorough communication on case status with them

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school

- Active license to practice law in the state

- Ability to travel weekly to attend in-person hearings at various locations around eastern and central PA. 

- Ability to virtually attend 5+ weekly hearings via telephone and MS Teams

- Compassionate and empathetic towards clients' needs

- Proficiency in legal research and case management software

- Experience with Litify software is a plus
