Part-Time Veterinarian – Small Animal Practice

Role Overview

Seeking a part-time Veterinarian to join a collaborative small animal practice in the Hudson Valley, New York. Ideal for experienced DVMs or recent graduates looking for a flexible schedule while practicing comprehensive veterinary medicine.

Clinical Environment

• Full-spectrum veterinary care including routine wellness, advanced diagnostics, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and rehabilitative therapies.
• Equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, CT, and an in-water treadmill.

• Diverse caseload including small animals, avian, and exotic species.

• Collaborative team of experienced DVMs and support staff, including board-certified specialists and mentors in surgery, internal medicine, acupuncture, and exotic care.

Candidate Profile

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from an AVMA-accredited university or equivalent.

• Active veterinary license in New York.

• Experience in companion animal wellness and preventive care.
• Proficiency in general surgery and/or dentistry preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary $120,000–$160,000 (full-time equivalent) plus production-based incentives; prorated for part-time schedule.
• CE allowance ($1,500/year prorated), reimbursement for state and DEA licensure fees, AVMA dues.
