Role Summary

A Savannah-based legal practice is seeking a Family Law Attorney to join its team in a hybrid work environment. This role is ideal for an attorney with at least two years of family law experience who can independently manage cases while providing thoughtful and client-focused legal support. The position offers flexibility, with most work performed remotely, while still accommodating in-person meetings when clients prefer face-to-face interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and related family law matters
• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations
• Provide clear legal guidance and support to clients during sensitive situations
• Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case updates and expectations
• Ensure compliance with legal procedures, timelines, and documentation requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in family law
• Licensed to practice law in Georgia
• Strong legal research, writing, and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently
• Excellent interpersonal and client communication abilities

Work Setup & Location

• Hybrid role (primarily remote with occasional in-office meetings based on client needs)
• Candidates within approximately 50 miles of Savannah preferred
• Open to candidates across Georgia willing to relocate

Compensation

• Salary range: $120K – $160K
