Role Overview

The Senior Internal Recruiter manages full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates across multiple departments. This role works closely with hiring managers and senior leadership to address current and future staffing needs, enhance recruitment strategies, and support workforce planning initiatives. The position reports to the Director of Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with leadership to define job requirements and hiring needs
  • Source, screen, interview, and recommend qualified candidates
  • Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews
  • Negotiate offers with candidates, hiring managers, and placement agencies within company guidelines
  • Conduct reference checks and verify credentials
  • Develop alternative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles
  • Partner with recruitment agencies for temporary and direct hire staffing
  • Support HR leadership in evaluating and onboarding new agency partnerships
  • Build talent pipelines through social media and networking efforts
  • Establish relationships with local universities to support student recruitment
  • Represent the company at job fairs, campus events, and networking opportunities
  • Maintain candidate relationships for future hiring needs
  • Analyze market trends, salary data, and talent availability
  • Support online applicant processes and HR functions as needed
  • Ensure compliance with EEO, ADA, and employment regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of recruiting experience (internal, external, or combined)

  • Extended periods of sitting and computer use

  • Ability to lift to 15 pounds when required

Compensation
  • Hourly position with total annual earnings typically ranging from $72,000 to $76,000, including overtime and bonuses.
