Associate Attorney
Role Overview
Seeking a litigation attorney with 2+ years of civil litigation experience to support a practice focused on property subrogation and complex fire-loss litigation across the western United States. Candidates with backgrounds in product defect, construction defect, premises liability, insurance, or general liability matters are encouraged to apply. Plaintiff-side experience is not required, and attorneys from an insurance defense background are welcome.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle civil litigation matters related to property subrogation and fire-loss cases.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and case strategies.
- Work with experts and technical evidence in complex litigation matters.
- Participate in depositions, hearings, and courtroom proceedings.
- Manage multiple cases while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in at least one western U.S. jurisdiction (AZ, CA preferred, NV, WA, OR, CO, UT, or NM).
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
- Experience with expert-driven cases and technical evidence is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple cases with minimal supervision.

Salary up to $130,000 plus bonus, depending on experience.
