Packaging Supervisor - 2nd shift

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee packaging operations and ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality across all processes. This role involves leading a team, managing inventory, and coordinating with cross-functional departments to maintain smooth production and distribution workflows. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of driving team performance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily packaging operations to ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule
• Lead, supervise, and motivate packaging staff to meet productivity and performance targets
• Manage inventory levels, ensuring proper control to prevent shortages, overstock, or discrepancies
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to meet established standards
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize supply chain efficiency
• Train and develop team members to improve skills, performance, and overall productivity
• Monitor equipment and facility conditions to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency
• Identify and resolve operational challenges quickly to minimize disruptions and downtime

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in packaging operations and inventory management
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and motivate staff
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a high level of attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Desirable Skills

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is highly preferred
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices
• Certification in inventory management or a related field is a plus
