Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing a designated shift, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who can effectively manage teams, drive performance improvements, and ensure compliance with all operational and regulatory standards. This position requires sound decision-making, attention to detail, and the ability to balance productivity with cost control and employee development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities for a designated shift to meet output and quality targets
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, sanitation requirements, and operational procedures
• Monitor production performance metrics such as downtime, productivity, and quality issues, and implement improvements
• Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Manage labor, materials, and waste to meet cost and budget targets
• Support hiring, training, and development of production staff, including performance management
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and audit readiness at all times
• Enforce company policies and regulatory requirements, including safety and food quality standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in management or a related field preferred
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with production systems
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
