Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

Support production operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment, including motors, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently while maintaining records and assisting with process control systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, including PLCs, HMIs, and process control instruments.
  • Install, adjust, and repair processing equipment according to specifications.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
  • Monitor and enforce safety procedures; maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and maintain planned maintenance programs.
  • Lift to 50 lbs. as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in machinery maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in repairing motors, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Excellent communication and safety awareness.
