Maintenance Technician - Nights

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Position Type: Permanent - Hourly with overtime
Shift: Night Shift 6p-6a

Mondays -Thursdays

Role Overview

Supports production operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment. Ensures equipment runs safely, efficiently, and reliably while maintaining accurate records and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, including motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, PLCs, HMIs, and process control instruments
• Install, adjust, and repair equipment according to specifications
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Collaborate with team members to improve equipment reliability and performance
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and preventive maintenance programs
• Support safe and efficient production operations
• Lift to 50 lbs. as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
• 1–3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong experience repairing and maintaining motors, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems (required)
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and process control systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and strong safety awareness
