Veterinary Oncologist – Locum / Contract
Opportunity Snapshot
This role offers a flexible locum or per diem opportunity for a board-certified Veterinary Oncologist, scheduled 1–2 days per week. Engagements of 6–12 months are preferred, with flexibility based on availability.
Practice Environment
- Expanding specialty facility with a planned larger footprint, including increased treatment space, additional exam rooms, a dedicated CT suite, and enhanced in-house laboratory capabilities.
- Collaborative, multi-specialty setting with advanced services including surgery, cardiology, internal medicine, oncology, rehabilitation, integrative care, behavior, and theriogenology.

Support from a skilled, compassionate clinical and support team.
- No after-hours, on-call, or overnight responsibilities.
- Access to 24/7 inpatient and emergency care through an on-campus partner facility.
Ideal Background
- DACVIM (Oncology) or residency-trained veterinarian with a practice limited to oncology.
Active veterinary license or license eligibility in New York.
- Strong interest in collaborative specialty care and high-quality medicine.
