Production Team Lead – 2nd Shift

Location: Monroe, NC
Salary: $65,000 – $70,000
Shift: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM

About the Role

Lead a production team in a fast-paced stone fabrication shop. You'll guide and motivate your crew to keep operations running smoothly and hit daily goals.

Stone industry experience is a plus, but not required. If you have strong leadership skills and a willingness to learn, full training on our processes and equipment is provided.

What You'll Do

• Lead and coordinate production for cutting, polishing, edging, and fabrication
• Assign tasks and manage schedules for fabricators, CNC operators, polishers, and helpers
• Meet production goals, quality standards, and customer requirements
• Learn and oversee CNC machines, bridge saws, routers, and hand tools (training provided)
• Coach team members on safety procedures and best practices
• Inspect finished workpieces for accuracy and finish quality
• Keep the shop clean and efficient using 5S/lean principles
• Work with project managers, the CAD team, and install coordinators to ensure jobs are ready
• Track materials and inventory, and coordinate restocking
• Report production results, attendance issues, and concerns to management

What You Bring

• Proven leadership experience (team lead, supervisor, crew leader, or similar)
• Fluency in Spanish and English (required)
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read work orders and production instructions (shop drawing training provided)
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices (OSHA a plus)
• Manufacturing, warehouse, or construction experience (preferred, not required)
• Ability to learn stone fabrication equipment and techniques

Working Conditions

• Shop floor environment with exposure to dust, noise, water, and stone particles
• PPE required (gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.)
• Standing, walking, bending, and heavy lifting throughout the shift
