Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Electrical Engineer to design and manage electrical systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, preparing electrical designs, supporting construction administration, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with architectural, mechanical, and structural teams throughout project development.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, equipment sizing, and electrical system designs.
  • Provide construction administration and technical support during project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building, electrical, and fire codes.
  • Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets while maintaining quality standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license with the ability to obtain reciprocity in other states.
  • Minimum 5 years of electrical design and construction administration experience in a consulting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of building, electrical, and fire codes.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with engineering consulting firms, utility companies, or city/state government projects.
  • Experience with military, justice, or water/wastewater treatment facilities.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with VisualPro, AGI32, or SKM PowerTools.
  • Experience supporting LEED or Green Globes certification projects.
