Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Registered Electrical Engineer to design and manage electrical systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, preparing electrical designs, supporting construction administration, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with architectural, mechanical, and structural teams throughout project development.
- Prepare engineering calculations, equipment sizing, and electrical system designs.
- Provide construction administration and technical support during project execution.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building, electrical, and fire codes.
- Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets while maintaining quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license with the ability to obtain reciprocity in other states.
- Minimum 5 years of electrical design and construction administration experience in a consulting environment.
- Strong knowledge of building, electrical, and fire codes.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with engineering consulting firms, utility companies, or city/state government projects.
- Experience with military, justice, or water/wastewater treatment facilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with VisualPro, AGI32, or SKM PowerTools.
- Experience supporting LEED or Green Globes certification projects.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $120,000–$160,000 (based on experience)
