> Payments Practice Lead | Consultancy Permanent

Mayford Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing consultancy practice in London and we are looking for an experienced candidate to join the business and help to develop a payments practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate looking for a growth opportunity. There is scope to build both a client base and a practice team as well as helping with the broader growth plans of the company.

The Role

- Previous consultancy experience desirable

 - Regulatory compliance experience in the payments sector 

 - Experience running teams and/or consultancy practices not necessarily essential but a desire to do so 

 - Broad understanding of payments and payment firms - the challenges they face from the FCA, the technology available in the market, the controls & policies they should have in place

- Strong written & communication skills a must have

- Client-facing /stakeholder management experience

- Hybrid working across London /UK

- Must be eligible to work in the UK / No sponsorship available

- Salary range dependent on experience: £90-£130k base + variable & benefits

- Possible discussion around variable options
