Salary Range: $70,000.00 To 100,000.00 Annually

Commercial Foreman - Glazing Supervisor: This position performs management and support activities for the Commercial Glazing division in the Minneapolis/St. Paul and greater MN areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports our Project Managers and Install teams through high level communication.
  • Coordinates field install schedules and logistics for material delivery to site. Ensuring that the projects are completed on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of our client.
  • Schedules and attends site measures with Lead Glaziers.
  • Manages multiple field teams of 2 to 15 installers per project site through Lead Glaziers.
  • Trains and develops installers to enable them to continue to grow in their positions and beyond.
  • Ensures installation of Architectural Glass and Aluminum products adhere to manufacturer and industry specifications and standards.
  • Ensures daily field to office communication.
  • Identifies and resolves any project issues or conflicts that arise.
  • Attends or schedules Leads for onsite and offsite foreman meetings as needed.
  • Ensures Toolbox talks and Safety Trainings are completed.
  • Schedules and performs installation trainings for installers or for new/unfamiliar project specific products.
  • Approves installer timesheets and time-off approvals.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of Commercial Glass and Glazing systems and installation practices. Storefront, Curtainwall, Glass Railings, Heavy Glass Walls, etc.
  • Ability to read, understand, and markup prints on paper, computer, or tablet.
  • Ability to measure and layout installation materials per plan and specifications.
  • Knowledge of tools and machinery used in the Glass and Glazing Trade. (lifts, power cups, etc.)
  • Previous Glazing experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and Glazing Software(will be trained for specific tools used)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior Organizational Skills required
  • Professional communication and leaderships skills required for communicating effectively to team, clients, and other trade partners.
  • Must be a servant leader with the ability to train and guide those on your team.
  • Willingness to continually learn by adapting to company culture and industry practices.
