Job Description: Commercial Painting Operations Manager

Position Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee production, supply chain, and other operations
- Look for wastefulness and identify areas for improvement
- Create strategies to make operations as efficient as possible
- Communicate & schedule w/ foremen & customers
- Optimize day-to-day activities: Streamline workflows to enhance profitability
- Ensure quality control
- Ability to hire, retain & fire employees
- Give reviews & raises to employees
- Maintain equipment & warehouse (sprayers, generators, etc.)
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to manage up to 30 people (foremen & painters)
- Lead and participate in safety training
- Ability to maintain inventory for projects; order materials and avoid over-ordering
- Work closely w/ various departments
- Play a significant role in long-term planning
- Manage conflict identify root cause and address promptly
Skills/Qualifications Requirements:
- Valid Drivers license and reliable transportation
- Experience in commercial painting w/ paint & primers, brush/roll & spray techniques
- Prior management experience of paint crews
- Strong organizational skills in field and office
- Solid written and verbal communication skills (English & Spanish a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft office, timekeeping & scheduling software
- Able to work evenings and weekends when necessary
- Reliable, self-motivated, professional

Salary: From $100,000 per year for qualified candidates

- 8 hour shift

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Experience:
- Operations Manager: 5 years (Preferred)
- Painting: 5 years (Optional)
Work Location: Mobile & office workstation
