KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Translate company goals and business requirements into engineering roadmaps and manage them through successful deployment.
- Lead daily engineering operations with a focus on resource optimization, milestones and budget discipline.
- Oversee critical cybersecurity work so mission-critical communication platforms stay hardened.
- Remain hands-on in telephony, VoIP and IP networking decisions and solutions.
- Build a culture of excellence through coaching, performance management and talent acquisition.
- Partner with the executive team on strategy for managed services, public safety communications and testing services.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Telephony expertise is mandatory: deep, hands-on knowledge of the telephony industry and a strong background in secure voice.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in telecommunications and network engineering.
- 7+ years managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex project lifecycles.
- Solid understanding of IP networking, VoIP and cybersecurity.
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electrical Engineering.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with Next Generation 911 (NG911) and emergency communications.
