S/4HANA Transformation & Integration Lead

MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group is looking for a highly experienced S/4HANA Transformation & Integration Lead to support a large-scale enterprise transformation and global SAP rollout program within a major organization in the manufacturing sector.

This is a senior techno-functional architecture role requiring broad ownership across SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, integrations, data, security, enterprise applications, and business processes. The selected professional will work closely with business and technology leadership to define and govern the end-to-end target architecture.

About the Role

You will lead enterprise and solution architecture across a complex SAP transformation landscape, ensuring alignment between business strategy, SAP capabilities, integration platforms, and surrounding enterprise applications.

The position requires the ability to operate beyond individual SAP modules and understand the complete technology ecosystem — from source systems and business processes through SAP, Salesforce, middleware, APIs, data flows, and downstream platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end enterprise and solution architecture for SAP rollout and transformation initiatives.
• Define target architecture across SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, middleware, SaaS applications, legacy systems, and external platforms.
• Lead architectural strategy for S/4HANA Greenfield implementations, Brownfield conversions, and global rollout programs.
• Design and govern SAP–Salesforce integrations, including business process orchestration, APIs, master and transactional data flows, interfaces, events, and exception handling.
• Define integration architecture leveraging technologies such as SAP Integration Suite / CPI, SAP BTP, MuleSoft, Boomi, PI/PO, API Management, REST/OData APIs, and IDocs.
• Establish architecture principles around SAP Clean Core, extensibility, side-by-side extensions, BTP, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Partner with business, functional, technical, security, data, and infrastructure teams to ensure architecture supports end-to-end business processes.
• Assess existing application landscapes and identify opportunities for simplification, consolidation, standardization, and decommissioning.
• Define principles for master data, migrations, data ownership, and system-of-record responsibilities across SAP, Salesforce, and connected applications.
• Review solution designs for alignment with enterprise architecture, security, scalability, performance, and supportability standards.
• Establish architecture governance, design standards, and review mechanisms throughout the program lifecycle.
• Support program leadership with technology roadmaps, implementation sequencing, architecture strategy, and major design decisions.

Required Experience

• Typically 15+ years of enterprise applications and SAP experience, including significant architecture responsibility.
• Strong background as an Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, or SAP Transformation Architect within large-scale transformation programs.
• Proven experience with both SAP S/4HANA Greenfield and Brownfield implementations.
• Experience participating in at least one major global SAP rollout or multi-country deployment.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end SAP business processes, including:

  • Manufacturing
  • Master Data
• Strong experience integrating SAP with Salesforce (SFDC) and other enterprise applications.
• Solid knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, BTP, API-led integration, middleware, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Strong architectural understanding of S/4HANA, Fiori, BTP, integrations, security, data, and extensibility.
• Ability to evaluate SAP and non-SAP solutions from business, functional, and technical perspectives.
• Experience engaging with senior business stakeholders, program leadership, implementation partners, and technology vendors.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Ideal Profile

We are particularly interested in a techno-functional architect capable of combining enterprise-level business process understanding with sufficient technical depth to challenge and guide individual solution teams.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable owning the broader business and technology architecture rather than focusing exclusively on a single SAP module.
