MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Consumer Fintech to join a fast-growing New York fintech company building banking and payment products for US prediction markets and regulated gaming.

The company develops consumer-facing financial products covering account funding, cards, onboarding, identity verification, KYC, and real-time balances on top of its own payments and settlement infrastructure.

Its platform has already processed more than USD 2 billion and continues to scale rapidly across both product and engineering.

About the Role

This is a senior product-engineering position for someone who has already shipped consumer financial applications end to end.

You will own complete product experiences, from customer-facing flows through backend services and production operation. Relevant experience includes digital banking, payments, trading, cards, onboarding, KYC, and other regulated consumer-finance products.

The client has not defined a mandatory technology stack for the search. The priority is identifying strong senior engineers with genuine financial-services product experience rather than optimizing for a particular programming language or frontend framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and operate consumer-facing financial products end to end.
• Develop onboarding, account-opening, identity-verification, and KYC workflows.
• Build customer experiences around cards, payments, balances, funding, and financial transactions.
• Develop backend services supporting consumer financial products.
• Own features from product and technical design through deployment and production operation.
• Work closely with product stakeholders to translate complex financial workflows into simple user experiences.
• Ensure reliability, security, and correctness across regulated financial processes.
• Operate independently within a small, distributed engineering team.
• Contribute to architecture and product decisions as the platform scales.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience shipping consumer products end to end.
• Professional experience as an employee of a neobank, payments company, trading platform, brokerage, or comparable financial product company.
• Hands-on production experience with onboarding, KYC, card, account, or related financial workflows.
• Ability to work effectively across frontend and backend systems.
• Strong product mindset and high degree of technical ownership.
• Experience taking features from initial design through deployment and ongoing production operation.
• Comfort working autonomously within a remote engineering organization.
• Current residence in Spain.
• Existing authorization to work in Spain.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The strongest candidate combines senior software-engineering depth with genuine product ownership.

You should be comfortable moving across the stack, understanding the customer journey, making implementation decisions, and remaining responsible for the feature after it reaches production.

The search is specifically focused on engineers who have worked inside financial product companies. Financial-services exposure acquired exclusively through consulting or IT-services client projects is not considered equivalent for this position.

Work Arrangement

This opportunity is fully remote within Spain.
