AUDITOR External Director and Consultant
THE POSITION
The Company is an administration and financial consultancy, providing support to international clients, a number of them situated in developing countries.
The positions scope and responsibility are to offer our clients maximum quality support in all administrative matters, especially within accounting and audit. A number of clients are companies or associations without professional administrative training, working on a voluntary regime which means they will need training on bookkeeping and auditing operations by distance via Skype, Team Viewer, Teams, Zoom etc.
KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCES
- Minimum 5 years experiences taking full responsibility for clients audit is needed
- University degree in accounting/auditing is an advantage unless experiences make up for it
- Ability to be motivated about your work and take the full responsibility for own area and tasks
- Eager to work in a diverse international small team of co-employees
- Ability to perform with a high level of communication, empathy, openness and interest on distance via skype/zoom/email teaching non-European clients to do administration tasks such as accounting, audit etc
- A high level of interest in getting to know well the Companys international clients and their work and circumstances is needed
- Performing at all times with the highest ethics towards clients, team members and management
- Being ready to travel for support of internal audit 2 weeks at a time if needed
- Having experiences from running own business before is considered an advantage
- Languages: English is a must, Greek is preferred
- Digital knowledge and abilities:
- Excel, Word, Adobe, Publisher
- Communication via digital means
Knowledge of E-Soft and QuickBooks Bookkeeping is an advantage
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES CONCRETELY
- Every month support a number of international clients doing internal audit, control of vouchers, control of reconciliation and control of updated cash flow
- Support the yearly audit timely for our international clients
- Keeping digital archive up to date at all times
- Co-operate smoothly with the rest of the Team about these tasks through daily, weekly and monthly meetings, discussion of plans etc
- Communicate weekly/monthly in a very good humble and professional manner with 1-2 persons from each of the clients
- Instruct clients via Team Viewer or Zoom or Skype in digital tasks and bookkeeping
- Keeping management informed producing good overviews of the developments for each client
Reports to Management
Time Schedule 08.00-16.30 Monday-Thursday (w 30 min lunch break)
08.00-14.00 Friday (with no lunch break)
