Responsibilities
- Stay updated on new menu items and assist in menu development.
- Communicate any issues or concerns to the Chef or management.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Attend and participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience working in a kitchen, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work well in a team and take direction from superiors.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Passion for food and willingness to learn and grow in the culinary industry.
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus.
