About the job Commissioning Technician (Marine Electronics)
Support with implementation/ assembly/ design/ testing with system or/ and project Engineers.
Carry out installation, termination, testing, troubleshooting, but not limited to Navigation, IT, Scada, Communication system and equipment in workshop assembly and onsite.
Assist and/ or carry out Factory Acceptance Test & Site Acceptance Test with client.
Contribute necessary improvements and offer advice about operational procedures.
Work with the team to investigate problems and diagnose and repair faults, if any, in order for the equipment to work to its specifications
Help out in the timely and accurate reports, documentation, timesheets, service reports as per company/ client format for submission and reporting.
Work with the Service Department to resolve enquiries, if required.
Any other associated tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time.
Other Requirements
Able to work under tight schedule and minimum supervision.
Able to travel in short notice.
Good verbal communication skill.
Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends and public holidays.
Ensure a safe working environment.
Experience in Telecommunication system in marine, shipyard, offshore is preferred. Job Title and Grade will commensurate with experience.
Fresh candidates are also welcome as there will be onboard mentorship and On-Job-Trainings (OJT).
Desirable overtime allowance after probation period.
