Junior Sous Chef (Fine Dining)
About the job Junior Sous Chef (Fine Dining)
Responsibilities:
- Assist in supervising and coaching junior team members.
- Ensure consistent food quality through regular checks.
- Participate in mise-en-place and food production.
- Record food wastage and manage stock ordering.
- Conduct month-end inventory stock checks.
- Collaborate with Resident Chef on kitchen workflow improvements.
- Maintain team hygiene standards and kitchen cleanliness.
- Fulfill additional duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Min. 5 years relevant experience in a fine-dining environment, preferably in Italian Cuisine
- Willing to learn, coach & adaptable to change
- Positive in attitude and approach to work
- Energetic, cooperative, initiative, and well personal hygiene
- Valid Food Hygiene certificate
- Ability to commence work immediately is a plus
