Masse is a fast-growing SEO agency, offering our highly-effective Content at Scale SEO campaigns to ambitious tech companies focused on the extreme cutting-edge of tech like AI and Robotics.

With our unique approach to SEO, we're growing exceptionally fast month-over-month and now were looking for an Account Strategist to join our team and increase our capacity to deliver tailored, tightly-managed strategies for our clients.

You'll manage relationships with 5-8 clients at a time, devise SEO strategies tailored to their target audience, and keep them up to date every step of the way.

You'll collaborate with our content, backlinking, and technical teams to execute your strategies, supported by our internal best practices and ensuring results are delivered on time and in line with our best practices and overarching philosophies.

We work hard to make sure clients feel like were a part of their team. You'll extend our ability to do this by educating our clients on our approach, advising our clients on how SEO intersects with their other marketing campaigns and getting to know our clients businesses at a deep level.

If you're comfortable rolling up your sleeves, driving SEO forward for clients (with the full support of our Founder and team), getting to know the ins-and-outs of their market and owning the results, wed love to hear from you.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Own the client relationship, acting as their primary point of contact for all projects and queries.
  • Set the clients SEO and Content strategy and adjust as needed based on performance.
  • Produce and present weekly and monthly client reports, showing the impact Masse is having on their business and bottom-line.
  • Co-ordinate content, backlinks, and technical SEO interventions from the respective teams.
  • Plan and manage content calendars for each client.
  • Vet the ongoing performance of content to ensure it aligns with strategic goals.
  • Diagnose underperforming accounts and propose actionable improvements.
  • Assist with additional client asks, like writing SEO landing page copy or handling ad-hoc data questions.
  • Collaborate with writers, editors, and the rest of the team to maintain high-quality output.



Here's what we're looking for

  • Native-level English.
  • Proven experience in an account manager role, managing multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proven experience in SEO strategy, including keyword research, technical SEO, and content optimization.
  • Experience creating and presenting reports and strategy decks for clients.
  • Proficiency with tools like GA4, GSC, and Ahrefs.
  • Experience creating and presenting reports and strategy decks for clients.
  • A conversational and engaging communication style, both in writing and in meetings.
  • Ability to write SEO/sales-focused copy when needed.



Desirable Skills

These are not essential and should not put you off applying for our role, but possessing any of these skills will help your application stand out.

  • Technical/Semi-Technical Skills - Some of our clients are in the Developer Tools space or other

  • Experience working in a startup/scaleup environment

  • Experience with Webflow or Framer

  • Experience creating landing pages


The details

Compensation: $48,000-$72,000 per annum, plus performance-based incentives

Location: Fully Remote

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm ET (Flexible) - You do not need to be based in the US, but must have the ability to work

Employment: Contract (Initial 6 months, with view to extend or make permanent)

Start Date: Immediate
