About the Job:

We are currently seeking a skilled Carpet Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing carpets for various projects, ensuring that the work is completed on time and to the highest standards. You will work closely with our team of installers, contractors, and designers to ensure that every project is executed flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure and prepare the area for installation, including removing old carpets, padding, and adhesives.
• Cut, stretch, and install carpeting, ensuring that it fits snugly and matches the design pattern.
• Use tools such as knee kickers, power stretchers, and carpet shears to complete installations.
• Ensure that the carpets are installed safely and securely, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Communicate with the team and clients to ensure that every project is executed flawlessly.

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school education is required.
• 2-3 years of experience in carpet installation is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of various tools and equipment used in carpet installation.
