Compensation: $90,000 $100,000 annually, plus eligibility for quarterly performance-based bonuses

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Facilities Management Director to join a 126-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital focused exclusively on rehabilitation services-no emergency department or outpatient clinics.

Position Overview
Reporting directly to the CEO, with a dotted-line relationship to the Regional Director of Facilities Management, this is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and maintenance of hospital facilities, ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient environment of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all plant operations, maintenance, environmental services, and dietary functions.

• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, AHCA, OSHA, and NFPA standards, maintaining readiness for all regulatory surveys.

• Manage the Environment of Care and Life Safety programs, ensuring consistent adherence to safety and quality standards.

• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for equipment, systems, and infrastructure.

• Collaborate with executive leadership to plan capital projects and facility improvements.

Preferred Background

• Prior leadership experience in acute care hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation, or skilled nursing settings.

• Strong technical knowledge in HVAC, electrical systems, building maintenance, and safety programs.

• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and departmental budgets.

Team Structure

• 2 Maintenance Technicians

• 1 Food Service Director (15 staff in food services)

• 1 Environmental Services Manager (2 staff in EVS)
