Senior Attorney- Labor and Employment Litigation

A respected law firm with a strong national presence is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Litigation Attorney to join its Team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage cases independently from start to finish and bring a comprehensive understanding of employment law matters.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Proven experience defending single-plaintiff litigation matters involving claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and reasonable accommodation issues
• Familiarity with PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) matters
• Experience handling class action lawsuits
• Ability to manage all phases of litigation independently
• Strong legal research and writing skills, supported by a solid academic background
• Experience drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery
• Skilled in drafting and arguing various motions, including dispositive and discovery motions
• Experience taking and defending depositions, including plaintiff depositions and corporate witness depositions
• Knowledge and experience in providing employment counseling related to federal and state employment laws and regulations
• A smaller portable book of business is ideal, but not required
