In this role, you will take charge of financial functions for LATAM, collaborating with our global CFO to build and scale operations in the region. Key responsibilities include:
- Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement the LATAM financial strategy to align with our broader goals and objectives.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Lead the preparation of financial reports and analysis, ensuring high standards of accuracy and timeliness.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks while ensuring compliance with local financial regulations.
- Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow and optimize treasury operations to support rapid growth in LATAM.
- Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead a high-performance finance team, promoting a culture of innovation, integrity, and excellence.
Ideal Profile
- Experience: 5-7 years in similar roles, preferably in startups or fintech environments. Strong proficiency in IFRS, financial planning, and risk management.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or relevant accounting certification (e.g., ACA, CIMA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Skills: In-depth understanding of financial regulations, advanced financial software knowledge, and strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese is advantageous).
