Job Summary:
As the Senior Talent Development Manager, your role will operate out of Kuala Lumpur to oversee organisational development across close to 10 offices in the region. You will helm a critical function for our client and ensure more efficient workforce optimisation for them through careful and effective execution of development strategies. To succeed in this complex role, you will need to think fast and critically on your feet, be an excellent problem solver, and be exceedingly fluent in stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and execute all professional development goals and operations for the company, including handling meeting preparation and setting agendas, and leading deep-dive discussions
- Provide recommendations for pressure testing and calibrating performance objectives, and work towards best practices for alignment
- Lead onboarding sessions and trainings and assign appropriate professional development advisors to new staff
- Manage downward and upward feedback across various stakeholders to capture key messages and patterns across different groups in the company
- Conduct regular pulse checks across the organisation and drive company-wide integration
- Redefine and drive all professional development policies in response to the evolving needs of the organisation and against standards of timeliness and excellence
- Provide expertise on all professional development policies and processes and when reviewing all process-related questions
- Manage performance improvement structures and address performance issues with clearly defined results and timelines for improvement
Requirements:
- Proven experience of 10-15 years in Professional Development, HR, Staffing, or Talent Development and Management, in a top-tier management consulting firm, is mandatory
- Must be currently based in Kuala Lumpur (highly advantageous) or willing to relocate to KL
- Ability to think critically and with an eye towards broader perspectives and detailed implications, while managing complex situations and people-related matters with a deft hand
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate clearly and convincingly across different levels of stakeholders
- Excellent sense of integrity, confidentiality, and adaptability, to shift gears in line with changing priorities and processes
- Exceptional leadership skills, to encourage and influence others to grow in potential
