Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Top-Tier Global Consulting Firm (1-Year Part-Time Contract)

Job Summary:

This role will be seconded to our clients prestigious education division, which focuses on upskilling/ development strategies. As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist trainers by providing resource and operational support, and work closely with students and trainees to bolster their learning progress. Ideally, you are someone who has superlative communication skills, takes strong ownership of their work, and has previous experience coaching mid-career professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Host training sessions on Zoom, and manage breakout rooms and other learning mediums
  • Circulate session materials before, during, and after classes and provide online and offline support on tasks/ assignments to students where needed
  • Facilitate group discussions and offer relevant guidance to students; escalate content questions to trainer when unable to provide an answer
  • Utilise assessment reports and statistics to pinpoint students that are falling behind, and coach them 1-on-1 to aid them in staying on track
  • Update trainers on trainees progress and provide feedback on sessions, and review process improvements with the team
  • Grade assignments together with trainers

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of 1-3 years in a similar role in an educational institution (university/college/educational courses and programmes/tuition centre) is highly preferred
  • Availability to work a 4-hour shift each on two weekdays and one weekend per week is mandatory
  • Current experience as a trainer or helping students with course material and class coordination is greatly advantageous
  • Bachelors degree in Business or prior experience in the business industry will be helpful
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication in English, and maturity to represent our clients prestigious brand
  • High level of proficiency in Zoom, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Excellent sense of responsibility and proactive ownership to follow through on assigned tasks with a strong attention to detail
