This is a travel-first, remote role, meaning you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere while still getting on-site when needed. You'll be the eyes, ears, and technical backbone of our projects, ensuring that everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and up to MapleCraft standards.

What You'll Be Doing
On-Site Troubleshooting & Project Support
- Travel to project sites across the U.S. to supervise installations, oversee infrastructure work, and troubleshoot issues.
- Work directly with contractors, site teams, and clients to ensure projects meet design specs and engineering standards.
- Conduct real-time quality control inspections, ensuring all work meets safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Remote Monitoring & Smart Engineering
- Use IoT sensors, drone inspections, and cloud-based monitoring tools to track project progress from anywhere.
- Provide remote technical guidance to site teams, ensuring that minor issues don't become big problems.
- Analyze system performance data, troubleshoot failures, and implement preventive solutions all while working remotely!
Client & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as the technical go-to person for clients, addressing concerns and ensuring seamless project execution.
- Host virtual check-ins and site walkthroughs with stakeholders to provide updates and solutions.
- Train on-site personnel on system operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting best practices.
Project Coordination & Reporting
- Oversee materials, scheduling, and resource allocation, ensuring everything is in place for seamless operations.
- Manage budgets, project timelines, and on-site logistics with precision.
- Document and submit detailed reports using cloud-based project management tools like Asana, Procore, or Trello.
Research & Innovation
- Stay ahead of emerging engineering technologies and bring fresh, innovative solutions to our projects.
- Identify new materials, automation tools, and construction techniques that could enhance efficiency and sustainability.
What We are Looking For
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or a related field).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in construction, field engineering, or infrastructure support.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction site operations, field inspections, and safety protocols.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM modeling, or other engineering design software.
- Familiarity with remote diagnostics, IoT-based monitoring, and drone inspections is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve structural, mechanical, or electrical issues on-site and remotely.
Soft Skills & Work Ethic
- Thrives in a flexible, travel-heavy work environment comfortable with changing locations and remote work.
- Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex technical issues clearly.
