Junior Cargo Officer

One of our prestigious clients in the Aviation and Cargo Handling industry is looking for dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Cargo Officer to join their team in Colombo immediately.

SALARY: LKR 50,000

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in daily cargo operations and documentation handling.
• Coordinate cargo loading, unloading, and storage activities.
• Ensure compliance with aviation and cargo handling standards.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and tracking reports.
• Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.
• Provide customer service support for cargo inquiries.
• Monitor safety and security protocols during cargo handling.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or certificate in Logistics, Aviation, or related field.
• Prior experience in cargo or freight handling is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office, Email).
