Senior Cargo Officer

One of our prestigious clients in the Aviation and Cargo Handling industry is seeking experienced and dedicated Senior Cargo Officer to join their dynamic team in Colombo immediately.

SALARY: LKR 70,000

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee daily cargo operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulations.
• Supervise cargo loading, unloading, and storage processes.
• Handle cargo documentation, manifests, and customs clearance.
• Coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders, and logistics providers.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to safety and security protocols.
• Manage and train junior cargo staff for smooth operational flow.
• Maintain detailed cargo movement records and performance reports.
• Resolve cargo-related issues promptly and professionally.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or higher qualification in Logistics, Aviation, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in cargo handling or aviation logistics.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and cargo management software.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
