Quantity Surveyor

One of our reputed clients in the Real Estate & Property Development industry in Colombo, Sri Lanka, is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team immediately.

SALARY: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for construction projects.
• Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budget and financial targets.
• Conduct site visits to verify quantities, quality, and work progress.
• Assist in contract management and procurement processes.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare progress reports and cost analyses for management review.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of measurement standards, construction techniques, and cost management.
• Proficiency in relevant software (AutoCAD, MS Excel, CostX, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
