Draftsman

One of our reputed clients in the Real Estate & Property Development industry in Colombo, Sri Lanka, is looking for an experienced Draftsman to join their team immediately.

SALARY: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare detailed architectural, structural, and MEP drawings as per project requirements.
• Convert conceptual designs and sketches into precise technical drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design accuracy.
• Update and revise drawings as per client or site feedback.
• Maintain organized drawing records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and design standards.
• Support project teams in preparing design presentations and documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or certificate in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proven experience in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and technical detailing.
• Good knowledge of building codes and design principles.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience in architectural or engineering firms will be an added advantage.
