Technician - Substation (Oman)

One of our reputed clients in Oman is seeking skilled Technicians Substation for their Production Support Department, to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot substation equipment supporting production and power distribution operations.

SALARY: OMR 239

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain substation equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and panels.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Record operational data and report any deviations or faults to supervisors.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
• Follow safety protocols strictly while working with high-voltage equipment.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in substation operation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, high-voltage equipment, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work instructions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physically fit and able to work in industrial and high-voltage environments.
