Welding Quality Inspector (Oman)

One of our prestigious clients in Oman is looking for an experienced Welding Quality Inspector to join their team immediately.

SALARY: OMR 500 – 700

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect and monitor all welding activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.
• Conduct visual inspections and coordinate NDT activities as required.
• Verify welder qualifications, WPS, PQR, and related documentation.
• Ensure welding works comply with oil & gas / pipeline project requirements.
• Identify welding defects and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and project teams to resolve quality issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certification: CSWIP / AWS (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil & gas / pipeline projects.
• Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ISO, etc.).
• Experience in site inspection and quality assurance.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
