Material Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. - Review project specifications and BOQ to identify material requirements.
2. - Prepare and compile Material Technical Submittals for consultant/client approval.
3. - Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to collect technical data sheets, certificates, and samples.
4. - Maintain and update the Material Submittal Log (MSL) and Material Tracker.
5. - Follow up on submitted materials and coordinate responses to consultant comments.
6. - Ensure all submittals are in the required format and meet project standards (LEED, fire rating, etc.).
7. - Support procurement by confirming approved materials.
8. - Coordinate with site and factory teams to ensure materials align with approvals.

Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

Experience: 3-4 years experience in material submittal preparation in construction or joinery.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PDF editing tools.
