Upholstery Manager

Overview

Responsible for managing all upholstery operations in the factory, ensuring high-quality finishing, efficient workflow, and timely delivery of upholstered products.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise upholsterers and allocate daily tasks.
• Ensure upholstery work meets quality standards and project specifications.
• Oversee cutting, stitching, padding, fabric selection, and final finishing.
• Coordinate with Production, Carpentry, and QC teams.
• Resolve technical issues and improve upholstery processes.
• Control material usage (fabrics, foam, accessories) and reduce waste.
• Maintain tools, machines, and ensure safety compliance.

Requirements

• 5–8 years experience in upholstery production, including supervision.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, foam, stitching, and upholstery techniques.
• Ability to read furniture drawings and finishing details.
• Leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
