Safety Officer (Oman)

One of our prestigious clients in Oman, a leading Dockyard Company, is looking for experienced Safety Officers to join their team immediately.

SALARY: OMR 263

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies at the dockyard site.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with Oman labour laws, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for workers.
• Investigate incidents and accidents and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain proper safety records, documentation, and reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in dockyard, marine, or industrial environments.
• Sound knowledge of HSE standards and safety regulations.
• Relevant safety certifications (NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent preferred).
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
