Technician - Picking & Passivation (Oman)

One of our reputed clients in Oman is seeking skilled Technician Picking & Passivation for their Pipe & Outfitting Department, to support surface treatment and corrosion prevention processes in piping systems and outfitting projects.

SALARY: OMR 213 per month

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carry out pickling and passivation of stainless-steel piping and fittings.
• Follow chemical treatment procedures to prevent corrosion and improve durability.
• Read and interpret technical instructions, drawings, and work guidelines.
• Inspect and test treated surfaces to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and chemicals in a safe and organized manner.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, especially when handling chemicals.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in pickling, passivation, or surface treatment processes.
• Knowledge of stainless-steel piping systems and corrosion prevention methods.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in treatment tasks.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in industrial environments.
