Group: NetOps Supply Chain - The end-result of our teams work is the delivery of Googles products and services to users around the world. We build and operate Googles production network, which connects the server farms in datacenters to each other and to the Internet.

Role: Coordinate customer requests for a variety of services with the appropriate teams and oversee all activities throughout the process. This includes working with requesters and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the desired end-result, working with partner vendors, and coordinating both field and warehousing personnel to execute as needed.

Daily activities:

  • Coordinate field activity
  • Coordinate site access for visiting field personnel and couriers
  • Support supply chain special requests
  • Coordinate with logistics and warehousing teams to supply required weekly resources in support of field operations (packaging, tools, etc)
  • Respond to and manage requests via ticketing systems
  • Manage ticket queues
  • Manage spreadsheet-based trackers and other queues
  • Prepare weekly meeting agendas and present updates to team, customer, and other stakeholders
  • Liaise with logistics teams and other partners to organize delivery and pick up of material to and from site
  • Request courier quotes as needed
  • Support partner vendors assigned to complete tasks that fall within the space of the customers organization as they pertain to reverse logistics
  • Create freight bookings
  • Order creation and maintenance
  • Execute manual inventory transactions in SAP

Key Responsibilities

  • Acknowledge and action incoming requests from customer teams and partner vendors
  • Execute operational processes according to customer documentation
  • Manage all aspects
  • Attend and present at meetings as required
  • Work with logistics & compliance teams to support international shipping activities
  • Create bookings with courier companies
  • Coordinate delivery at network sites with supporting groups
  • Manage queue of work within operational dashboards
  • Manage data entry for business analysis and improvement
  • Attend all customer team meetings as required
