HR Intern

Position: Human Resources Intern

Prime Manpower Resources Development Inc, a ManpowerGroup Licensee, is seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Human Resources Intern. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of human resources and learn from industry professionals.

As an intern with Prime Manpower Resources Development Inc, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and tasks, providing you with a well-rounded experience in the HR field. You will work closely with our HR team to assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and other HR initiatives.

This internship will be a 3-6 month commitment, with the potential for a full-time position upon completion. We are looking for someone who is available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate school or other commitments.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews

- Participate in onboarding process for new hires, including completing paperwork, conducting orientations, and setting up employee profiles

- Conduct research on HR best practices and present findings to the team

- Assist with employee relations, including documenting and addressing any issues or concerns

- Help maintain and update employee records and databases

- Support HR team with various administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

- Currently enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field

- Strong interest in the HR field and desire to learn and grow in this area

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new software and systems

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Prior HR experience or coursework is a plus, but not required
