DATA ANALYST

Your Responsibilities/Tasks:

• Utilise advanced proficiency in data analytics tools (Excel, Google Sheets,
• and Tableau) to analyse and interpret intricate data sets.
• Query databases using SQL language to extract relevant data for analysis.
• Support the Lead Analyst with Tableau Prep data flow to ensure accurate
• information availability for analysis.

• Deploy functional solutions and implement system test plans to ensure
• system quality and integrity.
• Identify and evaluate inefficiencies, recommending optimal business
• practices and system functionality.

• Build and maintain reporting systems to track key performance indicators
  (KPIs) and project success.
  Create process and user documentation.
  Design and implement data visualisations and dashboards using Tableau
  for clear and meaningful presentation of information.
  Develop functional specifications for system developers' use.
  Provide support and guidance on data analysis techniques and best
  practices to team members.
  Most common Tasks
  Extract data and create reporting dashboards for external clients according
  to a brief (eg. sales metrics for certain products or categories for a
  manufacturer, buyer or supplier)
  Update and maintain dashboards and/or company slide decks to reflect
  the most current data
  Collating and preparing raw data from across databases/systems to ensure
  data integrity and accuracy when processing
  Develop new or adjust existing calculations
  QA and sense check new or existing formulas and calculations for accuracy
  Requirements:
  Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; equivalent experience considered.
  2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  Advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, and Tableau Prep.
  Interview process includes a practical case study to assess these skills.
  Strong commercial acumen to translate complex data into actionable
  insights for business growth.
  Proficiency in querying databases using SQL language for data analysis.
  Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex
  information clearly.
  Experience in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships and
  driving data initiatives.
  Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects
  effectively.
  Self-motivated and accountable with the ability to work independently.
  Familiarity with the hospitality industry or related field is advantageous
