Workday Integration Developer
About the job Workday Integration Developer
- Deliver enhancements, bug fixes, data setup, and define test acceptance criteria.
- Configure, build and test prototype solutions, business processes, and integrations.
- Write configuration specifications for new functionality and make system changes.
- Collaborate with business users to assess business needs and translate those needs into
- effective technical solutions that align with project initiatives.
- Provide functional support to the ERP Finance/HR team, lead the analysis and business case
- development for interfaces, enhancements, and process changes, and drive the testing and
- acceptance of the changes.
- Provide functional expertise and leadership in the design, testing, and debugging of new
- requirements/enhancements to existing apps/modules/integrations.
- Monitor recurring (daily, weekly, or monthly) interfaces/processes, internal and external, to ensure
- successful execution and troubleshoot any failed processes.
- Investigate and resolve system-related issues and support the business by escalating issues to
- the appropriate vendor or internal system owner.
- Participate in weekly meetings with business and/or project teams to discuss projects, progress,
- and issues to be resolved.
- Support SOX compliance efforts.
- Prepares specifications and documentation, such as user manuals and systems/code
- documentation, for newly developed applications.
- Investigate and resolve system-related functionalities to adapt those to the development
- requirements.
- Facilitate meetings, conduct and lead presentations and/or training sessions with end-users,
- standardizing training and providing detailed documentation as needed.
- Understand dependencies with other systems.
- Complete tasks on schedule, within established guidelines, communicate, coordinate, and
- collaborate clearly, and effectively.
- Recommend solutions to the business in the capacity of a trusted advisor.
- Act as SME in the architecture/development and testing phases providing UI/Development
- recommendations for new integrations or requirements.
- Diagnose, track and manage quality issues to resolution
- Ensure product quality meets customer expectations and is responsible for creating test plans, test cases, test execution, and defect reporting.
