Jr. Accountant

The Jr Accountant is responsible in providing support that allows for accurate financial reporting, month end close with generally accepted accounting principles and in compliance with financial policies. He/she is also responsible for the controlling and accounting functions including management and statutory reporting.

Major Responsibilities

• Review and approval of invoices coded and forwarded from AP team.
• Raise special payment request outside AP process (FI invoices, Taxes, one time vendor, early payments etc)
• Ensures compliance with local tax regulations thru accurate preparation and timely submission of tax returns to BIR.
• Timely and accurate submission of local regulatory requirements (PEZA, SEC, LGU, PSA etc)
• Manage the period-end close process (i.e., journal entries,
• reconciliations, analysis)
• Compliance with the preparation and maintenance of updated process documentations
• Ensure compliance to all finance policies and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with all Corporate Accounting Policies and Procedures, and
• Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Maintain / implement strong internal controls and ensure the integrity of all
• financial and accounting transactions.
• Effectively partner with other Grace functions (i.e. Treasury, GA, A/P,
• A/R, HR, Tax).
• Other tasks as required by business needs.
