Optical Network Engineer

1、Responsible for maintenance of Optical equipment(WDM/OTN/MSTP).
2、Provide technical support to customers through remote trouble-shooting, assist to recover the service when outage happen in live network.
3、Perform optical layer power commissioning and optimization, service configuration for Optical network.
4、Peform the patch update or upgrade activity for optical equipment(OSNx800/OSNx500 Series etc.) to fix software defects or for version unification.
5、Onsite Maintenance support for critical problems that cant be solved by customer or local subcontractor according to SLA.
6、Make and review the technical solution to solve the issue basing on the troubleshooting, and perform the solution implement in live network for 7、customer, ensure the operation success.
8、Perform the pro-active maintenance activities such as rectification, risk elimination, switchover, accident drill , contingency plan and topology 9、update, EOS management, ensure the network running stably.
10、Communicate with customer about the technical solution scheme, organize the routine service delivery meeting, maintain the customer requirement and improve customer satisfaction.
